From James Reaney of the London Free Press, Monday, September 14th.

A Beal Art grad and former Londoner has a hometown exhibition at the gallery which showcased his work two years ago.

C. Jeremy Price’s exhibition at Strand Fine Art Services this fall continues into October. There is a reception Saturday.

The graduate of the acclaimed Bealart program went to the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver Film School before settling in 2008 in Montreal.

“We continue to follow (Price) around cycling, walking in the city and in the woods of northeastern Quebec, and sitting in cafes and passing them by,” says the Strand’s co-owner Andrew Smyth of the exhibition’s works.

He “paints in oil on canvas using a palette knife and the works hover somewhere between photographic and Impressionist with a focus on light and shadow. The paintings are quite remarkable,” Smyth said.
